Killer Sudoku is a free, no-login web puzzle site shipped by an indie developer in 2026. The puzzle bank is curated and uniqueness-certified — every puzzle has exactly one solution, every cage is solvable through pure deduction, no guessing required.

Why "free"

Because the puzzle generation already exists (it powers our iOS app), and adding a web frontend doesn't cost much. We'd rather you tell a friend than show you an ad.

The iOS & Android app

If you like the puzzles and want to play offline on your phone, there's an app. It has all 148 curated puzzles plus a generator that creates more on demand. Bento on the App Store.

What's powering this site

Astro static-site generator, Cloudflare Workers for the leaderboard API, Cloudflare D1 (SQLite at the edge) for high-score storage. All on the free tier. Your puzzle progress lives in your browser's LocalStorage — leaving the site doesn't lose your game.
